Bar Mitzvah
About two weekends ago, my weekend was dedicated to my family friend's bar mitzvah, Ethan Madarsolouk. And let me tell you, it was one of the best weekends of my life, I had a blast! Well, just in case you didnt know, a bar mitzvah is from the Jewish religion. It occurs when a boy turns thirteen years old, and is techically considered your 'manhood'. When a boy turns 13, he takes on certain obigations and is basically part of a new society. Well, at least in the Jewish community. A girl has these obligations, too but that case it is defined as a bat mitzvah, rather than a bar mitzvah. Now, lets get back to the fun at Ethan's Bar Mitzvah. Saturday morning was his reading at the temple, which is basically where he reads from the Torah. I had a blast there for sure, but the only downside was I had to wake up very early. Well, the celebration continued the next day, Sunday when it was his party. His party was fun for so many different reasons! I danced, ate, partied, and at the end I even presented the speech I wrote for him in front of everyone. Wel, that was my action packed weekend, thank you for reading! :)

Forest Gump
If I had to choose a favorite movie, there is no doubt that the movie Forest Gump would be right at the top. This movie, is one of my most favorite for a few reasons, but most importantly, it had anything you ever dreamed of in a movie. For one, there is love mixed into the whole plot. Another reason why is because it shows how a boy perseveres through all the struggles in his life and succeeds throughout it all. Finally, the message it gives out is amazing. It teaches us to be greatful for everything we have in life, not taking anything for granted, and shows that being honest and loyal pays off. Forest Gump ( Tom Hanks ) the main character, grew up with disabled legs and he had to walk with machine legs. One morning, on his way to his new school after moving to a ranch, he had to walk several miles there. He saw this young girl that helped Forest out a lot, and she protected him from many strangers and bullies. The young girl, Jenny and Forest practically were like young wedded kids. They had the love and relationship everyone dreams to have... They would hang out together, do homework, help each other out, climb trees, communicate and stayed together until high school. Forest and Jenny grew up together as kids when Forest became succeeding in many things and being very good at anything in his way. And with his disability, he preservered through it and went along. As Forest was going on as an innocent man doing many good things, Jenny got into many bad things and his mother was getting sick. He stopped by whenever he could, and one day in military boot camp, he saw Jenny on a very weird magazine. He decided to go stop by when he saw her getting involved in many bad things. He tried helping, but she refused. Forest went along doing many good things with his life, being heartbroken from Jenny not wanting or caring about him anymore. She stopped by at his house a few times, to sneak out of nowhere and leave him heartbroken and empty without a notice. Forest goes along to teach us to preserve and get through anything that goes your way, no matter how bad. Forest Gump, was definatly one of the best movies for anyone, anyone at all.

Tarzana Park
Hello, I know I am not blogging about movie reviews, but here I am with a new recent topic! Well, I hope you enjoy! If you didn't know, my favorite hobby is basketball and I love playing it. Usually, every season I play at Balboa Sports Center where they offer different seasons for basketball. But for some circumstances that are left unknown, they did not offer season to play. And instead of taking this season off, I decided to join Tarzana park. You might ask if I like it or not, but I do not know yet. This is my first season there and so far it is very fun. Practically, all of my friends from Portola play there and it is very fun to play basketball with them. Also, the coaches are all pretty much chill, or at least in my case just let us have fun and play for ourselves. This could have its ups and down, but mainly ups in my case for now. During practice, we practically play scrimmage the whole time which is basically a game between our own team for fun. I enjoy playing at Tarzana Park because it is very fun and I enjoy it a lot. But Balboa is way better in my opinion because the coaches help you inprove and take it more seriously. Well, that was my blog on Tarzana Park. Hope you enjoyed it :)

Cousins!
This past Saturday was a very fun and calm day. Saturday morning my cousins from my moms side came over and we had a great time. Usually, I don't see these cousins because they life in LA, and it's hard for them to come to the Valley. So either we go to there house or go out, it is on rare occasions that they come to our house so it was new and fun! In the beginning, we started off eating and of course that was fun, because who doesn't like food? We had Persain food called Ghormeh Sabzi that my aunt makes. Then later on we played a 2 on 2 basketball game with my brother, Dylan and my two cousins. After 2 and a half house of playing, we were all tired because of all the playing and decided to get some juice and relax. After that we decided to play Nba 2k on Xbox, which was also really fun. My cousins are very good so it was a fun competition, but in the end he beat me and my brother! Later on, we decided to go to the Calabasas Commons where we all had an amazing time! We ate at Johnny Rockets and walked around for the rest of the time. My brother, cousins, and I spent a lot of time together and we all had a blast! At the end of the night we decided to spend way more time with each other and see each other more often rather than every once in a while. That was my Saturday, I hope you enjoyed it!

The Lucky One
Im back with more movie reviews instead of random topics! Over the past few weeks I have been blogging about random things besides movie reviews. But this week I am back with a movie review about the amazing movie, "The Lucky One". This movie is starring Zac Efron which is the main character in this movie, and played the role very well. It all started as Zac, a Marine fighting for the United States in battle. During one of the raids, he find a picture of a lady and keeps it beside him. He survived many different hard battles after this where out of the rest of the troops, only he survived. When he gets boarded back home, he promises himself he will do whatever he can to go find and thank this women on the picture. He asks everyone, until he finds out her location and walks all the way from Colorado to this small town where he finally finds her. Zac Efron instantly falls in love with her and didn't know what to say so he did not mention the photograph and why he came to her. The women offers him a job at the shelter she owned and because of this, they got very close. One night, the women's ex husband finds the photograph and brings it to the women. She is instantly scared because that was the photograph she gave to her brother before he went into battle. Of course, she got frightened and kicked him out of his house until she realized she couldn't live without Zac. They instantly got married and everything was good for the both of him. I highly recommend this movie for viewers who like fictional love movies, but even though I usually do not watch those types of movies, I liked this one.

San Diego...
These past two days for me were spent in San Diego, in a ' small vacation '. On Sunday, my parents all of a sudden decided to plan a trip to go to San Diego, so we booked a hotel a day before we actually went. It was kind of nice because my whole family got to spend a few days together away from everything. And even though it was only trip we had a blast there! Throughout the days we did many fun activities but we mainly we spend a lot of time at the beach. The first day we arrived there was also my brothers birthday, so we decided to go out for lunch for celebration of his birthday. His name is Dylan and he turned 15 but I don't know if that's important to you haha... Anyways, we did many activities like went to the beach, bike riding, jet skiing, and my favorite part; eating! We stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel in La Jolla, San Diego and it is one of my most favorite hotels because of a few reasons... But one of the reasons was they had happy hour every night where they gave beverages and food out and it was very fun! They gave things like chips, Coke, Sprite basically any drink, and also many types of fruits and vegetables. Even though it was just a small trip, it is a nice get-a-way from everything and an excuse to just take a break on life. You may ask what was my favorite part of this vacation. And if I were to answer that, there is no favorite part; I had a blast throughout the whole trip! Anyways, that was my brief summary of my small vacation in San Diego! I hoped you liked it...

All Stars...
This past two weeks have been very fun for me, basketball wise at least... During every winter season at the San Fernando Valley recreational centers, they take there top 8-9 ranking players and put them on one team. This year I made the team, representing Balboa Sports Center and so far it is going very well. The first game, we played Mar Vista which was an amazing team! They all played well and none of our shots were making, and in the end we lost by 11 points. From them on we had to get serious because it was a one game elimination meaning if you lost once, you were out of the tournament. A few days later, last tuesday, we played a team by the name of David M. Gonzales and we actually won! Even though the gym's court was terrible and the ref's were in favor of the other team, we still came up and won by 15 points. Then came yesterday's game against Cheviot Hills ( aka the team who won the championships in last years tournament ). But we had the advantage because they only had 4/5 players on the court, but we surely underestimated them because at half time we were down by 17 points or somewhere around them. But this is where our luck turned around... The official director checked the rulebook and apparently you are forced to forfeit if you do not have 5 players on the court during the second half. We were all very happy and so far all star season is going very well... Thank you for reading!

London Has Fallen
About two hours ago, I finished the movie, London Has Fallen. This is an action packed movie, with also bits of comedy here and there. It all began after a British prime minister died, could have been murdered: many important people gathered together. They went to show respect, show there sympathy and give there condolences. But then many bad things occurred... There was a major terrorist attack and the whole building went down in massive ashes and burnt down. Many important people were injured, some even killed and no one knew what even caused this terrible scene. But, a common bystander was destined to find out who caused this and wanted to make it all better... But the question is, is this possible? I think you should watch this movie because I highly recommend it for everyone. Even if you do not like action movies, I recommend this for you because of even the comedy and definitely the cliff hanging.

Changing It Up A Bit... pt 2
Instead of my regular movie reviews blog, I will be talking about a new topic. This new topic is also known as my favorite hobby, basketball. Honestly basketball is something that will stay for me my whole life until the day comes where I can not walk anymore. The days, or even nights where I have so much going on in my life, I go outside and just play basketball. I plug in my earphones, play music and just get lost in my passion, basketball. Basketball is something I can do in any situation; clear my mind, get away from life, or even for my love on it. It is something that boosts my confidence in countless ways and helps me in my life. While people have there "safe-heavens" or "get-a-way" of maybe locking themselves in there room and just reminisce, I just play basketball. Take shots, practice layups, or just stand at the free-throw line. Whatever it is, basketball just helps me get away from anything in my way or letting me down in life. I play as if there is nothing else to care about in the world, no mistakes, no regrets: just me, a basketball and a hoop. As if nothing else matters.

Ride Along 2
This past two days, I have been watching a fantastic movie by the name of Ride Along 2. Which is basically a sequal/second movie to Ride Along 1. Rookie lawman Ben Barber (Kevin Hart) wishes and tries hard to become a detective like James Payton (Ice Cube), his future brother-in-law. James out of nowhere takes Ben to Miami to follow up on a case that's connected to things related to drugs and other extreme bad things. The case brings them to a very weird detective and a computer hacker who brings out evidence that brings out a respected businessman. It's now up to James and Ben to prove that charismatic executive Antonio Pope is actually a violent crime lord who rules southern Florida's drug trade. You might not understand some of this, but you would if you watch the movie. Honestly it was really goos, but I suggest you watch the first one before so you can understand the second one better.

Creed
A while back at the movies, I watched the movie "Creed" with Sylvester Stallone. In this movie, it is a boxing themed movie, as well as actioned. I don't want this to be a spoiler but if you are interested in watching this movie, I suggest you do not read the rest, except that I highly recommend it for anyone. The main character, Creed well actually Creed's son seeked out training by the boxing pro, Rocky Balboa. Creed's father, died when he wad a young boy and he wanted to grow up to be exactly like him and that is exactly what happened. He seeked training from the legend, Rocky and improved so much. Creed was so thirsty to get into the boxing rink but Rocky was always looking out for him, he only let him when the right time came. And Rocky treated him and took care of him as the son he never had. At one point there training got so intense that Creed came to live with Rocky and got mentored by him too. He trained at any time possible and strived for greatness. I highly recommend this movie for people with action desired movies.

Greys Anatomy
For the past few months, I have been watching Grey's Anatomy, a T.V. series on Netflix. Currently I am on Season 5, Episode 3 and so much has occurred. There has been many excitement, as well as many drama, and many many many different characters. The main characters are Meredith Grey, Dr. Shepard, George Omali, Izzy, the Chief, Dr Han and Kally, and so many other ones! Currently, Meredith and her friends have just passed there intern year, all except George. Who was off by one point and couldn't pass his intern year and had to do it all over again. Practically the only reason he failed was because he was getting over his divorce and couldn't think. Anyways, they are all trying to become major doctors/surgeons and they are all trying so hard and so dedicated. A lot of drama occurs with Meredith and Dr Shepard too but in the end I hope it all goes good with them. Anyways, I hoped you found this blog interesting, now I'm going to go watch more!

Changing It Up A Bit...
This week I am gonna take a new attempt at my blog. Instead of movie reviews I am going to tell you about what I did this past weekend. Well, afterschool on Friday me and my best friend Brandon Behjou went on a "spree" and went to Cipotle and Starbucks together. Then, later that night me and all my family went to our grandmas house for dinner and we spent time together. Saturday came, and my family friend Brian came over and along with my brother we played ping pong for pracctically the whole day! When Saturday night came, I slept over at my friends house with our whole group and we had a lot of fun. We played on his Play Station and so many other things and it was really fun. When Sunday came, we all went to iHop together for breakfast and ate a delicious meal. And Sunday afternoon I had basketball practice and after that I relaxed. It was an amazing weekend! I hope you enjoyed this blog!

Prison Break, Overall Talk About Alex Mahone
For the past month a half, I have been watching prison break. I am now gonna inform you guys about one of the main protagonists in this show. Alex Mahone was one of the most important characters in the show in two different ways. When he was fist introduced in Prison Break, he was an FBI agent who was assigned to find the Fox River Eight. The Fox River Eight were all the prisoners who escaped Fox River. Alex was one of the only people who knew what Michael Scofield was thinking and he was able to think out all of his plans. Michael and Alex ended up in a prison called Sona where anything could happen in the prison and the guards would have nothing to do with it. Alex saved Michael's life in the prison and they both ended up escaping prison. After this, Alex and Michael became best friends. Alex decided to help Michael find "Scylla" which was the only thing that could help bring down the company. During this process, Alex's son was killed which made Alex want to retrieve "Scylla" even more. He helped Michael in so many ways and he is one of my favorite people in the show. I reccomend this tv series for viewers who enjoy drama and sci-fi. It was overall, a good show.

McFarland USA
Recently I watched McFarland USA. In the movie, a football coach discovers that a group of kids run very fast, so he decides to make a track team. The team does a lot of training, and they compete in their first race. They end up losing, so their coach takes responsibility for the loss. At the next practice, their coach, Jim, finds out the issues that the boys have to deal with. The team races and try to win so they can qualify for the championships. They have to race over a huge hill, but they manage to qualify for championships. The team begins to practice more, and they name their team the McFarland Cougars. They also get new shoes and uniforms to go with their team’s name. In the state championships, the team manages to get in first place. I highly recccomend this movie for any age group and people who like any type of movies. It was very good.
