Into The Woods

The movie, "Into the Woods" is about a witch who puts a curse on a family, and it involves many fairy tales. Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Cinderella are some examples of the characters in the movie. A baker and his wife want to have a child, but a witch curses them. The witch tells the baker that the only way she will lift the curse is if he brings her some items. As the baker and his wife are looking for the items, they meet Jack, Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. All of these characters had one of the items that the baker and his wife needed to lift the curse, so they take the items back to the witch. After the curse is broken, the characters think that they will have a happy ending, but they don’t. They go through a lot of pain, but in the end they all end up together. I slightly recommend this movie, it might sound very childish; yet it is very interesting.
Be careful what you wish for...

One Tree Hill

For the past 2 and a half months, I have been watching a Netflix TV show series by the name of 'One Tree Hill'. In this 9 season series, I am on season 5 episode 2. So far in this unexpecting, cliff hanging series, so much is going on. The main characteres are Lucas, Nathan, and Dan Scott, Karen Roe, Deb, Peyton, Hailey, Brooke, and Coach "Whitey". In this series, two long lost brothers from a different mothers, finally meet up at 17 years of age in a small town by the name of Tree Hill. Eventually, the two half brothers (Lucas and Nathan) get on the same basketball team and many conflicts then start to occur. Conflicts like Lucas' best friend builds up relations with Nathan, also conflicts like how Nathan does not agree with the fact that Lucas belongs on his high school team. But soon enough the two brothers rebel against their jerk of a father and become friends. The father, Dan Scott has done many horrific things like; murder his own brother, leave his first wife after they have a child, attempt to get his sons' amazing basketball coach fired, yell at his family and friends, and so much more. But soon enough, as his relations with his first wife become good again, he starts to change for the better. This TV series is most defiantly the most interesting and unexpected show I've ever seen in my life; no doubt my most favorite of all.

American Sniper

This past Saturday, I watched a fantastic movie, by the name of “American Sniper “. The movie is about a guy named Chris Kyle. Chris wanted to become a cowboy, but he realized that he wanted to serve America by defending and fighting against terrorists. To accomplish this, Chris joins the SEALS to become a sniper. He wanted to become a sniper because when he was a child, he would hunt with his father, and he had really good aim. When he becomes a SEAL, he starts to date this girl he met at a bar, and they end up marrying each other. Chris’ next mission was to go to Iraq to fight terrorists, and he has to protect people on the battlefield. He is the best sniper they have because he has killed the most people and is the most proficient; killing 184 people. Chris doesn’t struggle with the war, but he struggles against how the war affects him when he is at home and with his children. He has family issues because he left his family for so long and he ‘abandoned them’. I found this movie very informative and cliff hanging, but I highly recommend it.

Lets Be Cops

A few weeks ago, I watched the movie “Let’s Be Cops.” In the movie, two friends (Justin and Ryan) are invited to a “costume” party. Justin is a video game designer, and he had made a game about policemen. Because of this, they decide to dress up as cops to the party. They realize that people think they are real cops, so they pretend that they are. Other cops think that they are real cops, too! So they order a police car, wear uniforms, and use all of this to their advantage. They use their sirens to get to places faster, but they almost got caught. But when Justin falls for a girl (Josie) that works at a restaurant, they get involved in a real case. Justin wants to tell the police that they are fake cops, but Ryan says that they can't because they will go to jail. Also, he says that it's their responsibility to finish what they started. So they must put their lives on the line and try to stop a group of people from blackmailing everyone, especially the owner of the restaurant that Josie works at.
In my opinion, this was a funny, fast-paced, action-packed movie.
