Over the weekend, I watched the movie “Annie.” In the movie, Annie is a foster child who wants to find her parents. One day, she is walking around in the streets, and she is saved from being hit by a car. The man who saved her is Will Stacks, who is running for mayor. By saving Annie, he becomes more popular, and it is likely that he will win. Will wants to adopt Annie, but his advisor, Guy, hires fake parents to meet with Annie. Guy does this because if Will reunites Annie with her parents, Guy will be given a reward. So Guy and Annie’s caretaker, Colleen Hannigan, make a public reunion with Annie and her parents, and Annie really believes that they are her real parents. Hannigan feels bad, and she tells Will the truth. Annie thinks that Will arranged this, so she feels abandoned. To show that he really wants to adopt Annie, Will drops out of the competition to become mayor. Will adopts Annie, and they open a literacy center. I reccomend this movie for watchers who interest in sad movies with happy endings.
Welcome to my blog! I will be giving you guys reviews on the past movies I have watched and especially my thoughts on the blog. Enjoy! :)

The Walkng Dead Season 5 Episode 12: "Remember"
Over the past few months, I have been watching the T.V. series, " The Walking Dead ". In this episode Rick and the group reach Alexandria, Rick and the survivors are welcomed and interviewed by the leader of the town Deanna. Then Aaron (Second Advisor) shows two beautiful mansions and offers them to the group. But Rick said he'd prefer to stay together in one of the houses just to be on the safe side. Part of the group becomes friends with other people in the community, but Rick, Michonne, Carl, Daryl and Glenn are still making sure it's not suspicious! Deanna finds jobs in the community for most of the survivors. Carl becomes friends with Enid who is a girl who just arrived to the town. Just like Carl. Rick decides to walk outside the wall with Glenn, Rosita and Noah and Aiden and Aaron to go get supplies. But there is an argument between Aiden and Glenn and Deanna stops it. Then she offers the policeman position to Rick and Michonne. After that Rick talk to Daryl to decide if they want to stay in Alexandri or not. Even though you probably won't understand most of this, I will assure you if you watch this series you will love it. Overall, this was a great entertaining episode and this show is just getting better and better. I really hope all my readers wil get a chance to watch and enjoy this show as much as I have.

Selma
About two hours ago, I found a website to find the knowledgeable movie, “Selma.” The movie is about Martin Luther King Jr. and how he led a march and a campaign to help secure the rights of all men. In the movie, they march from Selma to Montgomery, and this made President Johnson sign an act that secured voting rights. This was a huge victory for Martin Luther King Jr. because it helped their movement for civil rights. Before the march, Martin Luther King Jr. gives a speech saying that they must fight on for their freedom. Troops are sent to prevent the march, but they don’t give up. Some white supporters join the march, but one of them is killed. Martin Luther King Jr. goes to court, and Johnson allows them to continue their march. This allowed black people the right to vote, and Martin Luther King Jr. says that they are now closer to freedom. I highly recommend this movie because it is not only educational, but it is entertaining as well.

Project Almanac
Recently, I watched the movie “Project Almanac.” In the movie, a group of teenage friends find plans for building a time machine. They go through one of their parents’ belongings, and they find plans for the time machine. They build the time machine, but they use it for their own personal uses. For example, they win the lottery, they ace an exam, and they get back mean bullies. They want to fix their problems with the time machine, and they only want to use it for their own personal gain. But as they use the time machine, the future begins to fall apart and crumble with disasters. Because of this, they each begin to disappear one by one. To save themselves and humanity, they must travel back in time to make sure that they never have to face the destruction of humanity. They must go back and make sure that they never build the time machine or ever find the plans for making the time machine. I strongly recommend this movie for any age group because it is action packed and very unpredictable.

Into The Woods
The movie, "Into the Woods" is about a witch who
puts a curse on a family, and it involves many fairy tales. Jack and the
Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Cinderella are some examples
of the characters in the movie. A baker and his wife want to have a child, but
a witch curses them. The witch tells the baker that the only way she will lift
the curse is if he brings her some items. As the baker and his wife are looking
for the items, they meet Jack, Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. All
of these characters had one of the items that the baker and his wife needed to
lift the curse, so they take the items back to the witch. After the curse is
broken, the characters think that they will have a happy ending, but they
don’t. They go through a lot of pain, but in the end they all end up together. I slightly recommend this movie, it might sound very childish; yet it is very interesting.

One Tree Hill
For the past 2 and a half months, I have been watching a Netflix TV show series by the name of 'One Tree Hill'. In this 9 season series, I am on season 5 episode 2. So far in this unexpecting, cliff hanging series, so much is going on. The main characteres are Lucas, Nathan, and Dan Scott, Karen Roe, Deb, Peyton, Hailey, Brooke, and Coach "Whitey". In this series, two long lost brothers from a different mothers, finally meet up at 17 years of age in a small town by the name of Tree Hill. Eventually, the two half brothers (Lucas and Nathan) get on the same basketball team and many conflicts then start to occur. Conflicts like Lucas' best friend builds up relations with Nathan, also conflicts like how Nathan does not agree with the fact that Lucas belongs on his high school team. But soon enough the two brothers rebel against their jerk of a father and become friends. The father, Dan Scott has done many horrific things like; murder his own brother, leave his first wife after they have a child, attempt to get his sons' amazing basketball coach fired, yell at his family and friends, and so much more. But soon enough, as his relations with his first wife become good again, he starts to change for the better. This TV series is most defiantly the most interesting and unexpected show I've ever seen in my life; no doubt my most favorite of all.

American Sniper
This past Saturday, I watched a fantastic movie, by the name
of “American Sniper “. The movie is about a guy named Chris Kyle. Chris wanted
to become a cowboy, but he realized that he wanted to serve America by
defending and fighting against terrorists. To accomplish this, Chris joins the
SEALS to become a sniper. He wanted to become a sniper because when he was a
child, he would hunt with his father, and he had really good aim. When he
becomes a SEAL, he starts to date this girl he met at a bar, and they end up
marrying each other. Chris’ next mission was to go to Iraq to fight terrorists,
and he has to protect people on the battlefield. He is the best sniper they
have because he has killed the most people and is the most proficient; killing
184 people. Chris doesn’t struggle with the war, but he struggles against how
the war affects him when he is at home and with his children. He has family
issues because he left his family for so long and he ‘abandoned them’. I found
this movie very informative and cliff hanging, but I highly recommend it.

Lets Be Cops
A few weeks ago, I watched the movie “Let’s Be Cops.” In the movie, two friends (Justin and Ryan) are invited to a “costume” party. Justin is a video game designer, and he had made a game about policemen. Because of this, they decide to dress up as cops to the party. They realize that people think they are real cops, so they pretend that they are. Other cops think that they are real cops, too! So they order a police car, wear uniforms, and use all of this to their advantage. They use their sirens to get to places faster, but they almost got caught. But when Justin falls for a girl (Josie) that works at a restaurant, they get involved in a real case. Justin wants to tell the police that they are fake cops, but Ryan says that they can't because they will go to jail. Also, he says that it's their responsibility to finish what they started. So they must put their lives on the line and try to stop a group of people from blackmailing everyone, especially the owner of the restaurant that Josie works at.

The Expendables 3
Recently, I watched "The Expendables 3". In the movie, Barney Ross, Christmas, and the rest of The Expendables must defeat Stonebanks, who had been one of the founders of The Expendables. Stonebanks later became an evil weapon trader, so Barney was forced to kill him. Stonebanks, who had faked his death once before, has now decided that he must defeat The Expendables, but Barney decides otherwise. Barney must fight Stonebanks with a new team, so he fires his old team and hires a new team. Even though his new team is younger and faster, they are a little inexperienced. So when Stonebanks captures his new team, Barney must allow his old team to help him rescue them and defeat Stonebanks. This newest mission becomes a fight between new, smarter fighters and old school fighters. It was by far the most dangerous, exciting, and personal battle that The Expendables have ever had to fight. This movie is probably one of my most favorite because of its dangerous and exciting missions, also mixed with comedy and drama.

Furious 7
Hello blog readers! My weekly blog will be about my feelings on recent movies that I have watched so enjoy! Over this past weekend, I watched one of my favorite movies which was Furious 7. This movie was about the whole fast and furious 'crew' which was led by Dominic Torreto ( Vin Diesel ), Brian O'Conner ( Paul Walker ), and Luke Hobbs ( Dwayne Johnson ). In this Fast and The Furious movie series, each and every movie has a different exciting story of how they zoom with their fast cars and work as a team to complete a mission. In this movie, they were trying to retrieve stolen money from the bad guys, whose leader was Deckard Shaw ( Jason Statham ). It was trickier than you expect though because they kept the stolen money stored in a police station and it was hard for them to retrieve it. But Brian and his crew came up and masterminded a genius plan, saving the day once again! Out of the whole Furious' series, this movie was by far my favorite. I say this because it was the all in one movie; with comedy, action, fast cars, and especially an exciting plot! Thank you for reading my first blog! Stay tuned for more!
